For those who are interested in earning the Gold Medal Award, you must memorize the following:
1) Wilderness Road to Salvation
2) Memory Verses

3) Books of the Bible

1) Wilderness Road to Salvation

Day 1:
Gold
Reminds me of heaven because the streets are made of gold. God made me to live forever with Him in heaven.

•John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
Day 2:
Black

Reminds me of sin. My sin causes spiritual death in me which separates me from God who is Holy.
•Romans 3: 23 – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
•Romans 6: 23 – “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Day 3:
Red

Reminds me of blood. Jesus shed His blood and died for sinners so that we can have forgiveness from our sin.
•I Corinthians 15: 3, 4 – “Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in
 accordance with the Scriptures.”
Day 4:
White
Reminds me of snow. When I put my trust in Jesus, He washes away my sin. He saves me from the power of sin, death and hell.
•Psalm 51: 7 – “Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.”
Day 5:
Green
Reminds me of growing things. When I put my trust in Jesus, I am a new creation – I am spiritually alive and growing to become more like Jesus.

2) Memory Verses

Ephesians 6: 10-12
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6: 13-14
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the
belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Ephesians 6: 15-16
and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;
Ephesians 6: 17-18
and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.  To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
