The general missionof the Youth Ministry at Twin Oaks is characterized by:
1.  A great commitment to the Great Commandment "Love God and love people."
2.  A great commitment to the Great Commission "Know God and make Him known."

More specifically, this can be broken down into four areas we call CAST:  The identity, mission, character, and community of the ministry.

Identity:  We are a cast of Christians, called to glorify God by realizing our role in the drama of redemption.
(Romans 12:3-8; 1 Cor. 12:12-14; Eph. 4:4-7)

Mission:  We are called to cast the Gospel net into the world to gather God's kingdom catch. 
(Mt. 4:18-22; Mt. 13:47; Jer. 16:14-16)

Character:  As Christians we are freed from the mold of the world and cast into the mold of Christ, to be like him in thought, word, and deed.  
(Rom. 12:1-2; Rom. 8:29; Phil. 3:20-21

Community:  We are a community designed as a cast that God uses to bind and heal our brokenness.
(Psalm 147:3; Ezek. 34:11-16; 1 Peter 2:24)
