Dr. Herb Ward has served as an Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at Covenant College in Georgia since 2005. Here he teaches classes on Missions and the Old Testament and mentors many students with regard to World Missions.
Prior to his call at Covenant College, Dr. Ward served as Associate and Missions Pastor and interim Senior Pastor at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church. Prior to coming to Twin Oaks, Herb and his family served as missionaries with Mission to the World in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; Nairobi, Kenya and Cape Town, South Africa. He worked as a lawyer prior to entering ministry
Dr. Ward received his D.Th. at the University of Stellenbosch, his Th.M and M.Div from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, a B.A. from Wheaton College and his J.D. at the University of Missouri School of Law.
Dr. Ward is married to Kathleen (Kathy) Decker Ward and they have two adult children, Laura and David.
