Missions Possible

Overview:

Missions Possible is a ministry that meets in the summer during the evening worship service, children ages 4-6th grade are welcome to participate in Missions Possible.

Purpose:

Missions Possible is a dynamic program that equips, disciples, and challenges children, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to take an active role in the fulfillment of our Lord’s Great Commission.

Mission Possible believes that there is a window of time in a child’s life between the ages of 4 and 14 when children will first experience a desire to be involved in the work of missions. It is exciting to have the opportunity to share with the children of this age the exciting things God is doing in this world to further His kingdom.

Goals:

   1. To have the children realize that they have mission opportunities here and now.
   2. Be able to reasonably explain the term missions.
   3. Know how to pray for missionaries.
   4. Be able to see ways in which God is working in the world (ministries, countries, and people).
   5. 1/10th of the children will be involved in full time mission service.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Paul DeYoung in the church office.
