Discipleship Groups

Discipleship groups meet September through May

Discipleship groups (D Groups) are small group meetings segregated by age and gender in which students are able to engage with their peers and adult leaders on a more one-to-one basis. The purpose of the meeting is discipleship. In the Bible a disciple is a learner-follower. Christian discipleship is learning the truths of the Christian faith in order to live a Christian life (i.e. follow Christ).

Spring 2009, we will be studying a book by Sinclair Ferguson entitled The Christian Life: A Doctrinal Introduction. Ferguson writes, "How we think is one of the great determining factors of how we live." In this study we will explore what it means to think and live as Christians.
