Summer Semester begins June 6, 2010
Senior High Sunday School (grades 9 – 12)
Galatians
Rev. M. Jay Bennett, Youth Room (131A)
The Protestant Reformer Martin Luther once said, “The Epistle to the Galatians is my epistle. To it I am as it were in wedlock." This summer the Senior High Sunday School class will study Galatians, a letter that is foundational to the Presbyterian and Reformed understanding of the Law and the Gospel, which is the basis of the doctrine of justification by faith alone. Come join us as we explore the richness of Christ’s merit and satisfaction applied to sinners like us!
Junior High Sunday School (grades 7—8)
Anyone there? Anyone listening? Anyone care?
Jeff Scheibe, Youth Room (131B)
This summer the Junior High Sunday School class will be looking at various worldviews and the basic questions of life. Is there a God? Why am I here? Is there meaning in life? How do Christianity, humanism, socialism, post-modernism, etc. answer these kinds of questions? Which view truly describes the world in which we live, and what does that mean for how we should live? There are lots of questions in life. Come and explore some answers with us!
