Brad and Patty Wos and their family of five are members of TOPC and have been serving in Cape Town, South Africa, since 1999. The Woses are MTW missionaries working with the Student YMCA Campus Ministry Partnership, the organization that was headed by Roger and Les Palmer until just recently.
For the first five years of their ministry they worked with the students on the campus of Cape Town University. Since their return to Cape Town from their Home Missions Assignment (HMA) in 2005, they have moved over to the Belleville Campus of Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) with a student body of about 10,000.
Brad spends considerable time investing his life into strategic students from the whole of Africa who will eventually return to their home countries and families as strong Christian leaders of their communities and churches. As such, CPUT is a strategic campus for the cause of Christ. Brad has a great desire to see an African harvest of leaders who have caught the vision of multiplication through the intentional act of discipleship (II Timothy 2:1-2).
The Wos' will be in the states for a 6 month HMA beginning August 2008.
