Mort and Jenny Whitman are serving with Greater Europe Missions in Romania. Mort is a resident professor teaching Biblical and Practical studies at Maranatha Bible College in the city of Campina, Romania. Here the Whitmans disciple and mentor young adults and pastors in their Christian walk and faith.

 In addition, the Whitmans are working with the overseas branch of International Fellowship of Evangelical Students. They will be training student leaders to reach out to International students on campus. Jenny is using her design skills to help local churches with building projects.

The Whitmans retuned to Romania in the Spring of 2006 for a four-year term. They returned to Campina in early 2007 after attending language school in Timisoara. Mort is a member of the Missouri Presbytery and serves as a representative of ISI, the International Student organization that introduces students to Christ by a variety of programs, including connecting them to local Christian families.
