Bruce and Barbara Wannemacher are missionaries with Mission to the World (MTW) in Cape Town, South Africa. Bruce is a professor at the Bible Institute of South Africa (BISA) where he teaches Biblical Studies and Theology. Off campus he is involved with other BISA professors in a certificate award program for African pastors who have not completed any formal seminary training. Bruce is also the MTW Coordinator for Theological Education for the 11 countries of southern Africa.

Barbara began a ministry at a local public primary school (Masiphumelele) where she teaches Bible classes. She also continues to supervise a team of volunteer African teachers who now teach Bible in every class (grades 1-8) to approximately 1,350 students. Additionally, Barbara counsels and disciples BISA women students and wives of students, as well as teaches a course in Women in Ministry at the Bible Institute.

Bruce and Barbara are graduates of Covenant Theological Seminary. Bruce has a Master of Divinity degree and Barbara has a Masters degree in General Theological Studies. They are members of the Kirk of the Hills PCA Church.
