Pete and Dagi Smuts minister at the Bible Institute of South Africa (BI) on the outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa. Here Pete serves in a dual roll as the Vice-principal of Academic Affairs and as the Director of New Testament Graduate Studies.

Dagi is heavily involved in several aspects of the campus women’s ministry and in the local church that they attend. In addition, she is kept busy as wife and mother of four active children.

The Smuts family has built a number of strong relationships with various members of TOPC during their recent visits. They last visited TOPC in 2004 staying approximately three months in the St. Louis area while taking a short sabbatical from the BI.

The Smuts family plan to return to the states for six months in 2010, including three months in St. Louis.
