Craig & Lisa Sheppard have served as MTW missionaries in Bulgaria and Eastern Europe since 1986. They began their ministry as church planters in the city of Sofia, Bulgaria, where they still reside. Craig is currently the MTW Regional Director for Eastern Europe and serves as seminary instructor, publisher, pastor and administratior of the Sofia Christian Academy, a school for children of missionaries. Lisa stays actively involved in several of the team's ministries and has home schooled most of their children at various junctures of their overseas work. During their time in Bulgaria they have graciously hosted several TOPC short-term teams.

TOPC is the Sheppards home church. Recently while on HMA, Craig continued his Eastern Europe responsibilites from afar, taught the TOPC World Missions Sunday School Class in partnership with JG Porwoll, and assissted Sr. Pastor Ron Steel from time to time as pulpit supply.
