Coby and Pamela McGinty are members of TOPC serving in Cape Town, South Africa, at the Student YMCA, a Christian organization on the campus of the University of Cape Town (UCT). Combining their passion for student ministry and their love of the African Continent, God called them to serve at this world renowned university which lies at the tip of Africa.

Their ministry centers around teaching the Bible, discipling students and evangelism on campus. The entire family is involved in extending hospitality to these students, who have come from 98 different nations to this campus of 20,000. The McGintys desire to offer a home-away-from-home for students, an inviting place where they might share their lives with them while offering up sound Biblical teaching on a variety of issues. These students are the future leaders of nations, businesses, hospitals, law firms, churches and families. They pray their influence might help them to become bright lights for Christ in a sometimes dark world.

Their mission statement is “Teaching Students to Follow Jesus for Life.”
