Rick and Wendy Gray and their three children are missionaries serving with MTW along the Uganda/D.R. Congo border.

After finishing seminary and his internship, Rick went to Bundibungyo, Uganda, as a church planter. During graduate school Wendy first went to Ugunda on a short-term mission trip. She soon became interested in Bible translation and was invited to help with the translation project in Bundibugyo where the two met. After Rick and Wendy married they returned to the remote Uganda-D.R. Congo border to labor for the Lord as a couple.

Rick serves as Mission to the World’s Regional Director for East Africa. He and Wendy also work among the Babwisi Tribe, where Rick’s ministry focus is training and equipping local church leaders for the gospel ministry. Wendy utilizes her Ph.D. in linguistics to help translate training materials into the Lubwisi language.

The Grays are currently in the United States on Home Ministry Assignment.
