Communion Preparation

In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes."
- 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

At Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church, normally we celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday morning of each month.  Additionally, we have a special Good Friday Communion service and a Christmas Eve Communion service and other Presbytery events.  Teams of 2-3 workers help prepare the Lord's Supper (the filling of the individual juice cups and the splitting of crackers) and general cleanup following either the 8:30 a.m. or the 11:00 a.m. services.  Each team works one service (either choose the 8:30 a.m. or the 11:00 a.m. service) every fourth month (three times a year.)
