Ministry to Deaf & Hard of Hearing

Ministry to Deaf & Hard of Hearing

You are warmly welcomed by the people of Twin Oaks to join us for worship, Sunday School, Bible studies, and other church activities and events. Our Deaf & Hard of Hearing Ministry seeks to bridge the gap between the Deaf and the Hearing as well as to provide a mechanism for fellowship. We also seek opportunities to connect with other believing Deaf and also to reach out to those who have not heard the gospel or have no church home.

American Sign Language interpretation is provided for the 11:00 a.m. Sunday worship services. Please give us a call if possible before attending for the first time so that we can ensure that one of our interpreters will be ready to assist you. Sunday School, Bible studies, and all other events are interpreted by arrangement. Please call the church office at 636-861-1870.

Our Sign Choir plays an important role in the worship and music ministry at TOPC. Comprised of both Deaf and Hearing members, the choir is event-based.  We would love to have you join in!

If you have any questions, contact the church office at 636-861-1870 or contact

Michele Schlegel at schlegelmichele@yahoo.com or 636-797-2553 (ASL Interpreter)

or Robin Mourey at 636-861-1945 or robinmourey@sbcglobal.net (Director of Special Needs and Deaf & Hard of Hearing Ministry).

For worship, amplified listening devices are available upon request.
