This fellowship opportunity is for individuals who are 60 years old or older. Events include luncheons, field trips, church decoration, and guest speakers.  Please contact the church office for more information.

Annual Pool Party, Friday, July 30, 2010
Summertime would not be the same without our annual poolside/swim party to be held again this year at the home of Warren and Paula Keinath on Friday, July 30th at 11:30 am.  We ask everyone to bring a side dish of salad, vegetable,  starch, casserole, or dessert along with your swimming gear (recommended but not required). Expect to have another good time with great friends and delicious food. We would like to have your rsvp by Friday, July 23rd. Christmas in Branson, November 4—6, 2010
An overnight bus trip to “Christmas in Branson” has been planned for the Golden Oak Seniors on November 4th, 5th, and 6th of this year.  We will lunch at the College of the Ozarks and tour parts of their campus, see four delightful Christmas shows, including Andy Williams and the Chinese Acrobats, and enjoy accommodations at the Hotel Grand Victorian.  The cost for this motorcoach trip is $275 which includes all meals, all shows, and lodging (double occupancy).  Not included in the price of the trip is your choice of shopping ($??) OR the Branson Car Museum ($10), and your selection of treats at Russell Stover’s Outlet Store on the way home.

To secure your place on the bus we are asking for a deposit of $100/person to be paid by check to Jane Hummel by August 1, 2010.  Final payment will be due on October 10th.  If for any reason you need to cancel, you will be refunded for any charges that were not required to be paid to the vendors before your cancellation.
