If you're between 18 and 30 and looking to find a group of friends--a community--where you belong, you're not alone. There are thousands of young professionals and college students who live within minutes of our big, white front doors.
We are all looking for greater meaning through knowing God, as well as closer friendships with other Christians. We want a place to belong.
The Young Adults Ministries at Twin Oaks include Collegelife, Quarterlife. Our goal is to create connectional environments where we know God and each other better, sharing life.
Collegelife exists within Twin Oaks church to be a safe gathering of undergraduate and graduate students who ask hard questions and find biblical answers together. Any student is welcome. Danny Simpson is the Collegelife intern, and hosts a weekly Bible Study at his house on Sunday nights. During the Fall or 2009, we will study the Parables of Jesus.
Quarterlife exists within Twin Oaks church to be a smaller community where young adults can gather, grow, and go out into the larger church and the world as disciples of Jesus Christ. We worship, learn, play, and serve together both locally and globally. The best places to begin connecting with Quarterlife are Sunday morning or Tuesday nights. During the Spring of 2010, we will study the Parables of Jesus.
