World Missions Ministry

Twin Oaks Church emphatically embraces the last recorded command of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, which states, “… go and make disciples of all nations.” This Great Commission mandate, found in Matthew 28:19-20, is intertwined into every ministry of Twin Oaks Church. Our desire to follow this mandate is evidenced by the 32 world missionaries that we support, 7 of which are from the membership of Twin Oaks Church, along with 3 mission agencies and special world wide annual projects. The budget for this ministry comes from Faith Promise pledges that are received each year in February and March at the conclusion of our annual World Missions’ Conference. The Twin Oaks’ World Missions Committee oversees the ministry budget, the publication of our monthly magazine, the Missions Monitor, which highlights our various missionaries and their prayer needs, oversees several short-term mission teams that go to foreign lands each year and host several special missions services throughout the calendar year.
