The wedding ministry at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church (TOPC) exists to glorify God by consistently applying the principles of our constitutional standards (The Westminster Confession of Faith and the Book of Church Order) and to serve TOPC members. A wedding is a worship service which celebrates the covenant of marriage.
The process of planning a lifetime together and planning a wedding begins with premarriage preparation, called Prepare To Last. After completion of this, the Wedding Guild will work with the couple in arranging the Wedding Worship Service, the music, the florist, the audio/visual, and the caterer, if the reception will be at TOPC. To obtain more information about weddings at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church please contact the church office at 636-861-1870.
To reserve your wedding date at TOPC, either the bride or groom must be a member of TOPC for at least one year or the parents of either the bride or groom have been members of TOPC for at least one year. All arrangements must be within the confines of typical Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church weddings, which are suitable as sanctuary Worship Services.
The Senior Pastor, or his designee, has final say on all arrangements and decisions. If the primary officiating pastor is from outside TOPC, the Senior Pastor must approve this and a teaching elder from TOPC must have a part in the ceremony. Only pastors or church leaders with clear orthodox evangelical doctrinal positions will be permitted to lead or participate in wedding services at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church.
